ABSTRACT
Staff deems construction of the Fiscal Year (FY) 2022/23 Pedestrian Safety Enhancement Project, Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) No. 13044, and the FY 2023/24 Pedestrian Safety Enhancement Project, CIP No. 13046, to be substantially complete and recommends accepting the improvements and having the City Clerk record a Notice of Completion (NOC).
RECOMMENDATION

Accept the improvements for the FY 2022/23 Pedestrian Safety Enhancement Project, CIP No. 13044, and the FY 2023/24 Pedestrian Safety Enhancement Project, CIP No. 13046, as complete;
Authorize the City Clerk to record a Notice of Completion and release bonds in accordance with State law and City Ordinances; and
Release any remaining retention from CIP No. 13044 and CIP No. 13046 in accordance with State law and City ordinances.

PRIOR ACTION/VOTE
On December 7, 2021, the City Council approved Resolution No. 21-4502, authorizing the allocation of Community Development Block Grant funds for FY 2022/23, which included the funding of Pedestrian Safety Enhancements Project FY 2022/23, CIP No. 13044, and authorized the City Manager to execute the required supplemental agreements with the County of Riverside.
On November 15, 2022, the City Council approved Resolution No. 22-4626, authorizing the allocation of Community Development Block Grant funds for FY 2023/24, which included the funding of Pedestrian Safety Enhancements Project FY 2023/24, CIP No. 13046 and authorized the City Manager to execute the required supplemental agreements with the County of Riverside.
