ABSTRACT
The Murrieta Public Library received a donation of $500 from the Temecula Valley Woman's Club, to be used towards the Children's Library Expansion project. Staff asks that the City Council accept the donation and authorize an amendment to the Fiscal Year 2025/26 Operating Budget.

RECOMMENDATION

Approve acceptance of a donation from the Temecula Valley Woman's Club in the amount of $500, for the Murrieta Children's Library Expansion Project; and

Authorize amendment of the Fiscal Year 2025/26 Operating Budget as referenced in the Fiscal Impact statement.

DISCUSSION
California Government Code Section 37354 authorizes the City Council to accept gifts made to the City of Murrieta. The Murrieta Public Library receives various donations throughout the year to support special events, programming, and capital improvement projects. There is one current donation to be accepted for the Library Expansion Project:
