DISCUSSION
California Government Code Section 37354 authorizes the City Council to accept or reject gifts made to or for the City. The Community Services Department receives various donations to the City of Murrieta throughout the year. These donations can include sponsorships for special events or funds to assist with capital improvement projects that benefit the community through parks and community services.

FISCAL IMPACT
