RECOMMENDATION

Accept the improvements for the Murrieta Hot Springs Road and Hancock Avenue Pavement Rehabilitation project, Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) No. 8043, as complete;
Accept the improvements for the Murrieta Hot Springs Road and Madison Avenue Median Improvement project, CIP No. 13028, as complete; and
Direct the City Clerk to record a Notice of Completion and release bonds in accordance with State law and City ordinances; and release any remaining retention from CIP No. 8043 and CIP No. 13028 in accordance with State law and City ordinances.

PRIOR ACTION/VOTE
On September 6, 2022, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 22-4613, awarding the Contract for the construction of the Murrieta Hot Springs Road and Hancock Avenue Rehabilitation project, CIP No. 8043 to the lowest responsible bidder, All American Asphalt in the amount of $3,731,101.00 (Vote: 5-0)1.
On August 15, 2023, the City Council conducted a public hearing and adopted Resolution No. 23-4699, approving the Fiscal Year 2023/24 to Fiscal Year 2027/28 CIP budget, which included the Murrieta Hot Springs Road and Hancock Avenue Pavement Rehabilitation Project, CIP No. 8043; and the Murrieta Hot Springs Road and Madison Avenue Median Improvement Project, CIP No. 13028 (Vote: 5-0)2.
