RECOMMENDATION

Approve the Ninth Amendment to the System Implementation Agreement with TriTech Software Systems for services relating to the Computer-Aided Dispatch and Records Management System;
Approve a one-time service fee in the amount of $100,000 and an annual software fee of $525,000 in year two, with a 5% increase for each subsequent year for the term of the agreement, for a total contract amount not to exceed $2,362,815.63;
Authorize the City Manager to execute the agreement; and
Amend the Fiscal Year 2023/24 and 2024/25 Operating Budgets as outlined in the Fiscal Impact section of this report.

PRIOR ACTION/VOTE
On June 6, 2017, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 17-3739, authorizing the purchase of a Computer-Aided Dispatch and Records Management System for a total initial cost of $1,796,175, ongoing cost of $236,533 and annual debt repayment of $209,241
(Vote: 5-0)1.
On November 15, 2022, the City Council authorized the Seventh Amendment to the TriTech Software Systems Agreement for a total increase of $115,680 (Vote: 5-0)2.
On April 18, 2023, the City Council authorized the Eighth Amendment to the TriTech Software Systems Agreement (Vote: 4-0-1)3.

BACKGROUND
On June 6, 2017, the City of Murrieta entered into an agreement with TriTech Software Systems, a CentralSquare Technologies, LLC Company, for a Police and Fire Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD) and Police Records Management System (RMS). The contract term was 60 months from the go-live date of August 28, 2018. The Seventh Amendment extended the contract to August 28, 2024.
