RECOMMENDATION

Authorize the use of Cooperative Agreement #2018011-01 to purchase Commvault services and authorize CDW-G to administer the agreement;

Approve the agreement amount not to exceed $24,059.80 for Fiscal Year 2024/25; and

Authorize the City Manager to execute the use of the agreement, in a form approved by the City Attorney's office, with CDW-G, and approve future amendments, in a form approved by the City Attorney's office, in a total amount not to exceed $75,000.

BACKGROUND
The proposed agreement between the City of Murrieta (City) and CDW-G is for the procurement of Commvault services. Commvault is a comprehensive data management and protection solution designed to help organizations safeguard, access, and recover their critical data across diverse environments. It provides a unified platform that supports backup and recovery for on-premises, cloud, virtual, and hybrid systems. The City has used Commvault since 2016, as part of its on-premises backup and recovery strategy. The proposed renewal quote would provide for continued use of the Commvault services from March 21, 2025, to March 20, 2026.
The Cooperative Agreement Contract #2018011-01, initiated by the City of Mesa, Arizona, was utilized for competitive bidding and final pricing.
