RECOMMENDATION
recommendation
Accept the Public Improvements in Tract Map 30489, located north of Juniper Street, south of Berlie Street, and west of Hancock Avenue; and

Direct the Department of Public Works to perform continued maintenance of the aforementioned public improvements in conformance with the City of Murrieta's maintenance standard.

BACKGROUND
On November 16, 2004, the City of Murrieta entered into an agreement with Salda LLC, for Salda, LLC to construct certain public improvements within Tract Map (TR) 30489. TR 30489 is a subdivision with a development plan to construct six detached single-family homes, located north of Juniper Street, south of Berlie Street and west of Hancock Avenue.

The public improvements, which included street paving, curb and gutter, sidewalk, drive approaches, and a storm drain system within TR 30489, have been completed. The improvements were inspected by qualified City personnel within the Department of Public Works under the direction of the City Engineer who has determined that the public improvements are satisfactory and have been completed in compliance with applicable City standards and regulations.

The City Council has determined that it is in the City's best interest to maintain the public improvements through regular upkeep in conformance with City maintenance standards. Therefore, the Department of Public Works will provide continued maintenance of the aforementioned public improvements.

FISCAL IMPACT
