PRIOR ACTION/VOTE
On June 1, 2021, the City Council of the City of Murrieta adopted Resolution No. 21-4402, authorizing the City to enter into an agreement with Image Trend for Fire incident records management software access. (Vote: 5-0)1.

BACKGROUND
This agreement is for additional services related to the existing agreement with Image Trend, LLC. The City of Murrieta, Murrieta Fire & Rescue (MFR) currently uses the Image Trend, LLC system software for the department's incident records management, which replaced the outdated Fire House system in 2021. The Riverside County EMS Agency (REMSA) mandates the use of the Image Trend as the sole approved electronic patient care platform for capturing incident response and patient care data. The Image Trend platform is an extensive data system that stores emergency medical services and fire suppression incidents. The system is populated by the City's dispatch system and regulates the call types and incident reporting, which requires close monitoring and an expert understanding of system adjustments to avoid data failure. The platform oversight is complex, and because of the growing volume of large data and system management skills, there is a need to have an Image Trend Advisement Consultant fill in the gaps for weekly troubleshooting, misdirected call types, and compliance reporting.
