Adopt a Resolution of the Planning Commission of the City of Murrieta, California, making a finding to the City Council that the new proposed additions to the Capital Improvement Plan for Fiscal Years 2026/27 through 2030/31 is in conformance with the City of Murrieta General Plan 2035.

ENVIRONMENTAL
The proposed action is not a "project" as defined in California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines (Title 14, Division 6, Chapter 3 of the California Code of Regulations), Section 15378(b)(4), because it involves citywide budget allocations, which, on its own accord, will not cause a significant environmental impact. The individual projects to be funded by the Capital Improvement Plan will be evaluated in accordance with the CEQA Guidelines, as applicable, prior to implementation.
PRIOR ACTION/VOTE
On May 14, 2025, the Planning Commission of the City of Murrieta passed and adopted Resolution No. 2025-04 confirming that the new proposed additions to the Capital Improvement Plan for Fiscal Years 2025/26 through 2029/30 were in conformance with the City of Murrieta General Plan 2035. (Vote 5-0).
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The purpose of this meeting is for the Planning Commission to find that the new proposed projects to the Capital Improvement Plan is in conformance with the City of Murrieta General Plan 2035 and provide that finding to the City Council via resolution.
