Request for Board Input:
To further enrich the program's legacy and ensure alignment with community needs, staff welcomes the Commission's feedback and suggestions on the following:
* Are the current tree types and park locations reflective of resident interests and environmental suitability?
* Would expanding eligibility or creating tiered options improve accessibility?
* Are there other commemorative elements (e.g., art installations or story plaques) worth exploring?
FISCAL IMPACT
The program operates at no cost to the City. All associated expenses are the responsibility of the applicant, and City staff supports the installation and coordination using current resources.
