Amend the Fiscal Year 2023/24 CIP Budget and establish an additional appropriation in CIP No. 8043 for $21,890.

PRIOR ACTION/VOTE
On June 6, 2023, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 23-4671, approving the Fiscal Year 2023/24 and 2024/25 Operating Budget (Vote: 4-0-1).
On August 15, 2023, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 23-4699, approving the Fiscal Year 2023/24 - 2027/28 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) budget, which included the Clinton Keith Road and Date Street Pavement Rehabilitation Project, CIP No. 8043 (Vote 5-0).
On March 19, 2024, the City Council approved the Construction Contract Award for the Clinton Keith Road and Date Street Pavement Rehabilitation Project CIP No. 8043 to Onyx Paving Company Inc (Vote 5-0).

BACKGROUND
The Clinton Keith Road and Date Street Pavement Rehabilitation Project, CIP No. 8043, will rehabilitate the pavement on Clinton Keith Road from the westerly City limits to Rancho Mirlo Road and Date Street from Margarita Road to approximately 700 feet north-east (Attachment 1). As part of the pavement rehabilitation process, Rancho California Water District (RCWD) manholes and valve cans will need to be adjusted to the new surface of the roadway.
On January 18, 2024, City staff sent a letter and Invoice No. AR050758 to RCWD requesting reimbursement for adjustments to their facilities (Attachments 2 and 3). On February 27, 2024, City staff received a check from RCWD in the amount of $21,890 for the purpose of adjustments to its facilities (Attachment 4).
Staff recommends accepting the funds in the amount of $21,890 and amending the Fiscal Year 2023/24 Capital Improvement Plan and Operating Budget for the appropriation of these funds into CIP Project No. 8043.
FISCAL IMPACT
Appropriate funds from RCWD in the amount of $21,890 into CIP No. 8043. Funds shall be allocated into Reimbursement Agreement Fund 319 (Revenue Code 3190060-42224 08043319-42224, Expenditure Code 3197500-70000 08043319-500).
