PRIOR ACTION/VOTE

On June 18, 2024, the City of Murrieta entered into an agreement for on-call, as-needed landscape plan review and inspection services with Architerra, Inc., with a maximum contract amount of $100,000 per fiscal year covering Fiscal Years 2024-2025, 2025-2026, and 2026-2027.

CITY COUNCIL GOAL

Maintain a high performing organization that values fiscal sustainability, transparency, accountability and organizational efficiency.

BACKGROUND

The Development Services Department currently has an agreement with Architerra, Inc. to provide on-call, as-needed landscape plan review and inspection services. The Agreement’s terms cover three fiscal years (June 18, 2024 - June 30, 2027), not to exceed $100,000, per fiscal year per vendor. The Amendment is necessary to increase the amount of the Agreement to continue providing reviews of landscape plans and inspections for development projects. The proposed amendment increases the maximum amount of the Agreement by $50,000, per year resulting in a maximum contract amount of $150,000 per fiscal year.

CEQA Determination

The proposed action is not a “project” as defined in the CEQA Guidelines Section 15378 because it does not involve any commitment to a specific project that could potentially significantly impact the environment and constitutes an organizational or administrative activity that will not result in direct or indirect physical changes in the environment.

FISCAL IMPACT

Funding is available in the General Ledger account 1104400-60480 Contract Services. Other services will be paid for by applicant deposit fees as a pass-through and there will be no impact on the General Fund.
