CITY COUNCIL GOAL
Coordinate and deliver responsive, effective community services.
BACKGROUND
The 2025 calendar year reflected strong participation across recreation programs, senior services, youth engagement, and community events. Several program areas continued multi-year growth trends, while others stabilized after post-COVID operational shifts. Aquatics programming, now operating at Murrieta Vista High School, showed a significant rebound in public swim and lesson participation despite operations only open for four days a week. Event reservations and facility use also remained robust, with shelters and community center bookings maintaining high demand.
Overall, 2025 demonstrated steady community engagement, increased program utilization, and continued recovery and expansion across core service areas.
